21kW Solar PV and Battery storage install at Farnham Common

The customer was facing rising electricity costs eating into the ability to operate the community sports club. 

Being a Sports Club there is also the ever present danger of cricket balls as well as footballs.

A thorough assessment was carried out on the existing structure, which was found to be unsuitable for mounting the Solar PV. Subsequently, it was decided to fit the PV onto the newer section of the building which could take the weight of the panels. Due to the layout of the building we needed to position the inverter and battery pack a significant distance from the main incoming supply which placed constraints on monitoring ability. We also had to specifically select compatible circuit protection for the building. Our team has been providing regular checks to ensure the system is operating at maximum efficiency. We also offer repairs if needed.

The Team had to battle the seriously wet winter, work around existing bookings and navigate the rabbits warren of roof structure that was hosted underneath the industrial over clad roof.
